Welcome to LivingWorks!

Thank you for supporting your organization to learn the life-saving skills necessary to keep each other safe from suicide. This document is designed to guide you through the key steps involved in setting your organization up for success when engaging with LivingWorks’ training programs.

From everyone at LivingWorks, thank you for playing your role in contributing to a world safer from suicide.

Pre-Launch Preparation

Important email addresses and URLs

This training requires access to specific URLs and email addresses. Please share the list at the bottom of this paragraph with your IT team and email service providers to ensure all communications are received. Additional information that can be shared with your IT provider can be found here.

Launching with a large number of trainees

If your organization elects to launch a large number of LW Start licenses (> 200) on the same day, please notify your organization’s IT department to ensure that they are aware of your initiative.  Your IT professionals may need to make allowances for this additional traffic through firewalls, switches, and/or VPN.  Should your IT professional require an advanced technical discussion with LivingWorks’ IT team, we will facilitate this.

If a user in your organization incurs any issues with our technology, we have a support desk that should be used to address those issues.  Please ensure that anyone who is struggling with the technology connects to our team via email at support@LivingWorks.netWe have a very responsive team, and most issues are addressed quickly.

Communication with your trainees is key.

Prior to your trainees being enrolled, we recommend sending them a communication outlining the program and sharing your expectations that they will complete the training promptly. Communicate a deadline. While the users have access to the training for 60 days, set a more immediate deadline and communicate this with your users.

  • If you require marketing materials to create awareness of this program, feel free to use the materials found here.

Ongoing Support

  • Learn the system. As your group’s manager, you can track and monitor your group's progress and completion. You can follow these guidelines to access status reports, view certificates and view their pre- and post-course survey results.

  • Enrolling your members. LivingWorks will be communicating an email template with you that will include your group specific sign-up URL and coupon code. You can share this template with your members by emailing it to them directly.

  • Expiration policy. User licenses are to be distributed within one year of purchase. Once a license has been assigned to a user, the user has 60-days to access and complete the training. After this time the learner’s enrollment will be marked unsuccessful. If an unsuccessful learner wishes to complete the training, another enrollment must be used

  • User licenses that are marked as “in progress” are considered used and will count against your remaining enrollments.
